Mike may sound southern at first, but once you meet him, you’ll realise he is the go-to guy when people talk about having someone “for that.” Stranded in Orange Lake? Just call Mike! Vehicle stuck in a ditch? Give Mike a call. A tree fell onto your house overnight? Same story here.
Mike established his land clearing business independently in 2001, using one backhoe and one dump truck. His dedication to safety and professional quality has become legendary; his favourite slogan being, ‘Do it right the first time.”
Mike’s professional background speaks for itself; his expertise spans across multiple fields such as electrician, plumber, welder, mechanic and pest control – it comes as no surprise that he can operate and repair every piece of equipment owned by him with ease.
Mike is grateful for having an exceptional group of neighbours who provide him with friendship and care. In 2005, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office honoured Mike’s service by awarding him with a commendation for clearing downed trees and debris from roads and driveways in a free manner during the 2004 hurricane season.
Mike enjoys showing people the splendour of Cross Creek by giving airboat tours on Orange Lake. He dreams of purchasing a cabin in Homer, Alaska and realises this dream by owning two fishing charter boats there.
