MCCROAN'S LAND & TREE SERVICE, LLC
McCroan's Land & Tree Service, LLC is a local, family-owned land and tree service company. No job is too big or too small. We do it all. We originally began in 2001 doing land clearing, excavation, and hauling work in North Florida. Since 2004, we moved to Hawthorne, Florida.
Safety and customer satisfaction is our motto. Our highly trained team makes sure that all work is safely executed and each job is left clean and tidy.

Mike McCroan
FOUNDER and CEO
Don’t let Mike’s southern accent fool you. Once you meet him, you’ll realize he is the guy everyone is referring to when they say, “I have a guy for that.” Stranded in the middle of Orange Lake? You call Mike. Your truck stuck in a ditch? You call Mike. A tree fell on your house in the middle of the night? You call Mike.
Mike single-handedly started his land clearing business in 2001 with one backhoe and one dump truck. He is a stickler for safety and professional quality. His favorite slogan is “do it right the first time.”
Mike’s professional background does not disappoint. Mike’s been an electrician, plumber, welder, mechanic, and even worked in pest control. It’s no surprise that he can expertly operate and repair every piece of equipment he owns.
Grateful for an amazing group of neighborhood friends, Mike makes sure that neighbors are welcomed and taken care of. In 2005, the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office awarded Mike a commendation for his service to the community clearing downed trees and debris from roads and driveways, free of charge, during the 2004 hurricane season.
In his free time, Mike loves to introduce people to the beauty of Cross Creek by taking them on airboat rides on Orange Lake. He also dreams of owning a cabin in Homer, Alaska.
